Charity collection for Veronica 26-29 June

Join the Centre for Modern Art and Theory in another charity collection for Nadace Veronica. Summer is here and that calls for a clear out at home. From 26 June, you can place your unwanted but still pretty items in the Veronica box on the ground floor of building K in front of the reception. Veronica will sell them in their charity shops and the proceeds will go towards their eco projects.

The Garden Party is an opportunity for an informal gathering of all students, PhD students and lecturers of the Department of Art History, together with the guests of the From Idea to Architecture workshop. In addition to enjoyable conversations, we will have delicious wine and beer, roasting sausages or vegetables, and other great refreshments.

Workshop - From Idea to Architecture

We cordially invite you to participate in the architectural workshop entitled From Idea to Architecture organized by the Department of Art History in cooperation with the Methodological Centre of Modern Architecture of the National Institute of Architecture in Brno.

Book launch - Ruský imperialismus: Umění, věda a náboženství ve službách režimů (1801–2023)

On behalf of the entire Centre for Early Medieval Studies, we would like to invite you to the launch of a new book by Prof. Ivan Foletti. The book is titled Russian Imperialism: Art, Science and Religion in the Service of Regimes (1801-2023) and will be presented on Saturday, June 10 at 3:30 pm at the Knihex Book Fair in Prague.
