1. Are there any funding opportunities, travel grants, or bursaries available for participants?


Information on bursaries offered by the Design History Society is available on both our website (section Registration Fees) and the DHS website.


2. Is it possible to receive an acceptance or notification letter, as well as an invitation letter?

Yes, these can be provided on request.

When will the conference programme be available?

The programme is expected to be published in June.


4. Will there be a printed or PDF collection of abstracts available alongside the full programme? If so, will there be a process for submitting a final version of the abstract?

Yes, a PDF version will be available, and we will also request the final version of the abstract.


5. Will online participation be available? Does the conference accommodate online participation as a fallback option?

No, the conference will be held exclusively in person. Online participation will not be available.


6.
What is expected from presenters? Is an extended abstract or full manuscript required?

A presentation alone is sufficient; no extended abstract or full manuscript is required. Presentations should be approximately 20 minutes long. Please submit your presentation in PowerPoint or PDF format by the 28th of August 2026.


7.
Will there be publication opportunities connected to the conference?

We plan to publish a selection of papers presented at the conference. Further details will be announced after the conference.

Do you provide invoices or proforma invoices?

Yes. If you require an invoice or proforma invoice, please contact Markéta Rychterová at dhs2026@phil.muni.cz.
