Call for Papers: Who Owns Heritage?
Call for Papers: Who Owns Heritage? Local Communities and the Fight for Historical Monuments in the 19th and 20th Centuries. Masaryk University Brno, Czechia, 6 November.
Join the Centre for Modern Art and Theory in another charity collection for Nadace Veronica. Summer is here and that calls for a clear out at home. From 26 June, you can place your unwanted but still pretty items in the Veronica box on the ground floor of building K in front of the reception. Veronica will sell them in their charity shops and the proceeds will go towards their eco projects.
They seek especially
- Clothes, shoes (as new, seasonal, i.e. good for Czech summer)
- Accessories such as caps, hats, handbags …
- Jewellery and bijou
- Glass, ceramics, porcelain (sets or individual pieces)
- Textiles (tablecloths, curtains, etc free from stains and burn holes)
- Books
- Toys, games, puzzles, jigsaws (without missing pieces)
- Unwanted gifts (unopened cosmetics… )
If you have any questions or can’t bring your stuff next week, get in touch with Marta Filipová, m.filipova@phil.muni.cz.
Thank you on behalf of Veronica and the environment!
